Two suspects are on the run after a violent robbery in Houston left victims injured, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The Houston Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Gilberto Lopez Jr., 22, and Isabelle Villareal, 17, both wanted on charges of robbery with bodily injury following a violent incident on July 29.
The suspects are alleged to have attacked two individuals in a parking lot at the 8300 block of N. Bayou and then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
According to police, the incident began when the victims met Lopez and Villareal at a bar. The group later drove to a parking lot where Lopez and Villareal reportedly assaulted the victims and took their car keys.
The suspects then entered the victims’ Nissan Altima and escaped.
After a follow-up investigation, Houston Police Robbery Division detectives identified Lopez and Villareal as the suspects in the case.
The victims later confirmed their identities, leading to the filing of robbery warrants for both suspects on November 1. As of November 6, Lopez and Villareal remain at large.
