The man arrested for allegedly stalking Paige Bueckers said he intended to visit her with an engagement ring and threatened to kill imaginary romantic rivals in a series of disturbing social media  posts made before his arrest last month.

Robert Cole Parmalee, 40, posted about the UConn basketball star and declared his infatuation for her in these TikTok posts, some of which remain visible on his account. Another, reviewed by the Associated Press, included a picture of Bueckers alongside an unnamed man.

‘This is worth it for this guy, huh?’ he captioned the post, according to the AP. ‘This is just one guy, I’ll sacrifice him, no problems, no questions asked.’

Parmalee was ordered detained on $100,000 bail Monday following an arraignment in Rockville, Connecticut. He was further ordered to stay away from a person described by the court as ‘P.B.’

‘I’m coming to UCONN Paige Madison Bueckers, I’ll be in Hartford tomorrow morning,’ he wrote in one August 27 TikTok post just hours before his arrest near Hartford.

Parmalee was picked up walking along a highway, telling officers he arrived from the Pacific Northwest and intended to see Buckers on campus.  He was found with lingerie and a ring.

UConn is located in Storrs, which is 31 miles down the road from Hartford.

Troopers took Parmalee into custody after it was discovered that he had an arrest warrant over arson allegations in Josephine County, Oregon, where police say he tried to set fire to a home with roommates and pets inside.

He has since been charged with felony stalking as well as misdemeanor harassment and breach of peace by UConn police.

Parmalee’s public defender, Kathryn Mallach, did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Friday’s affidavit does not name Bueckers but includes references to a ‘V1’ who was the subject of Parmalee’s ‘continual, escalating behavior’ and suffered ’emotional distress over the past two weeks’ as a result.

Many of Parmalee’s posts about Bueckers are nonsensical ramblings, which initially fell short of anything criminal in the eyes of authorities.

But, as the arrest affidavit explains, his posts became alarming in recent weeks.

‘I will choose to die, and I will choose to take all of you that pose me, oppose us, to hell,’ he wrote in one message shared by police. ‘If you allow them to touch you, you allow them to die.’

According to police, V1 recently discovered direct messages from Parmalee to her Instagram account and became concerned for the her safety, as well as her family and teammates’ well-being, when they learned he’d been arrested outside Hartford.

Parmalee also expressed a desire to find the home of V1’s mother, according to the affidavit.

He has previously been arrested for misdemeanor sexual abuse, burglary, driving under the influence and possession of methamphetamine, as well as harassment.

Curiously, his TikTok handle is ‘Cole Parmelee,’ which uses his middle name and a different spelling of his last name than what was used by police.

Parmalee is due back in court on October 22.
