Annie Kilner posted a very cryptic quote on Thursday as she took to Instagram amid her husband Kyle Walker’s paternity scandal with Lauryn Goodman.

The WAG, 33, shared a look back at her summer with her four kids as well as her birthday celebrations after a difficult year. 

Manchester City player Kyle, 34, shares 13-month-old Kinara and, Kairo, four, with TV star Lauryn. 

He became embroiled in a paternity scandal and courtroom showdown when it emerged he had fathered two children with the model, 33, while with wife Annie.

In her post after sharing family snaps, Annie included a shot of a cryptic quote alluding to a difficult few months which read: ‘Never let your storm get your kids wet.’

Annie gave birth to a fourth son in April and shared sweet family snaps as part of her social media offering.

It showed the kids playing together at the beach and enjoying summer days and the ‘Happy Birthday Mummy’ cake they had got her.

It comes after Lauryn ‘confirmed’ Kyle told her he loved her during their relationship together. 

The reality star found herself at the centre of a nasty paternity scandal at the beginning of the year.

And Lauryn has recently opened up with more details of her and Kyle’s relationship after launching her new podcast Yours Sincerely with Lisa Andrews. 

Replying to comments over on YouTube, a source for Lauryn revealed Kyle told her he loved her despite the footballer recently moving back into his marital home with his wife Annie. 

One fan asked: ‘Question to both of you. Does the father’s family have anything to do with your children?’

Another then asked: ‘Or even better, we’re the couples in loving relationships or even on a I love you basics?’

Replying, a source from the podcast wrote: ‘Nigel told Lisa he loved her and Kyle told Lauryn he loved her.’

A spokesperson for Kyle Walker categorically denies these claims and says recollections may vary. 

Last week, Lauryn launched a podcast with Lisa – who had a love child with married boxer Nigel Benn 27 years ago.

In the podcast, titled Yours Sincerely and sponsored by a Turkish restaurant in north London, Lauryn warns former lover Kyle that she will tell their children ‘what he has done to them.’

She says: ‘I will be like, ‘Your dad didn’t want to give us astroturf, your dad didn’t want us to have air con.’ It’s just like straight up answer to the questions. I asked, it was a no.’

She complained that the courts had only allowed her to get their children a ‘similar’ standard of living to his four sons with wife Annie.

‘They can’t get treated equally, only the dad can do that for them,’ she said. ‘The court will just get you similar.’

Of the £2.4 million house in Sussex which she chose and which the footballer bought for her to live in with their children she complained: ‘It’s like a greenhouse, there is so much glass. 

‘Kairo and Kekes they are sweating. They have fans, but I have the blinds shut all day. You can’t cool down the house. It’s mental.’

Lauryn has been incredibly open about her relationship with the Man City star in recent weeks after her appearance on Celebs Go Dating. 

Last week the mother-of-two also shared the full text message she sent to Annie last December as she revealed Kyle was the father of her daughter. 

Lauryn shared the extremely blunt message sent on December 27 last year with her 246,000 followers on Instagram. 

It read: ‘Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter. He’s been having a relationship with us all including the baby & I’ve got everything to prove it. He’s been apart of our lives seeing the children [sic].’

Meanwhile Lauryn took a cryptic swipe at Kyle on Sunday as she admitted that her ‘light has been dimmed’. 

The star admitted she is ‘struggling’ being back on the dating scene and is finding appearing on Celebs Go Dating quite ’emotional’ as she attempts to find love again.

She confessed she needs to try to ‘heal’ to allow herself to date properly again but her ‘confidence has really been knocked’.

Lauryn was given the equivalent of a £150,000 a year in child payments after a court hearing in which the judge accused her of treating the Man City defender as an ‘open ended cheque-book.’ 

She asked for £31,000 for AstroTurf and £33,000 for air conditioning in the house, which Walker complained he didn’t have at his home in Cheshire. He does have astroturf at his home.

The podcast marks a continuation of hostilities between Goodman and Walker. 

Walker is now living back in the marital home with wife Annie and their four children and they are working on their relationship. By agreement with Annie, he only has contact with Lauryn through solicitors.

They have sons Roman, Riaan, Reign and Rezon and are thought to be considering filing a complaint about harassment against Goodman. 

She had son Kairo after a fling with the footballer, who was married but separated at the time, and had daughter Kinara, known as Keke, when they resumed contact later. 

Walker has always said that there was never a relationship between them and Goodman said on Celebs Go Dating that she had been shocked to be pregnant. However today she says that both children were ‘wanted.’

In the podcast she talks about her decision to announce that Kyle was the father of Kinara to his wife Annie, which she did in December last year, by text message.
