Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva have sold their expansive Connecticut ranch, following news of their planned move to Spain.
The 75-year-old actor and 41-year-old publicist, who recently shared a romantic moment at the Zurich Film Festival, sold the nearly two-acre New Canaan estate for $10.75 million, according to Mansion Global.
The property features two separate residences: a charming 1938 main house with five bedrooms and a cozy three-bedroom cottage designed by renowned architect Harold R. Sleeper, per the outlet.
The grounds create a serene escape, complete with a patio, swimming pool, lush perennial gardens, and forest trails winding through a rock-lined stream, a natural pond, and a private waterfall.
Gere and Silva acquired the home two years ago from music icon Paul Simon and his wife, Edie Brickell.

In April, Richard revealed to Vanity Fair España that after spending the first six years of his marriage stateside, he and his wife are ready to embrace a new chapter by moving to her native Spain.
‘She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so I think it is only fair that I give her at least another six living in hers,’ he told the magazine.
They are relocating with their two sons Alexander, five, and James, four.
Prior to moving to Connecticut, Gere owned an estate in the celebrity-favored area of Pound Ridge, New York, roughly an hour from Manhattan.
In May 2022, he sold that property for $28 million, according to Mansion Global, just two months before purchasing his New Canaan home.
Richard and Alejandra’s romance began in 2014, when they reconnected in Italy after first meeting years earlier through a mutual friend.
Despite their 34-year age difference, the two quickly bonded over their shared passions for humanitarian work and spirituality.
They married in a private ceremony at Gere’s estate in upstate New York in 2018.
