Real Estate have shared their shimmering take on Elton John’s ‘Daniel’.

A classic rock evergreen, the band have long been fans of ‘Daniel’ and began introducing it into their live sets over a year ago.

The reason? well, their recent album is also called ‘Daniel’.

A move that makes perfect sense, Real Estate bring their harmonic effervescence to the fore, capturing the clipped feel of their live shows.

A recording was handed to the original songwriter – Sir Elton John himself said it was “really beautiful” and later spoke to the band about it for his Apple Music Rocket Hour show.
