Gisele Bündchen is sidelining herself from the modeling industry as she expects her third child.

The Brazilian supermodel, 44, is taking ‘a step back from work to focus on her pregnancy’ with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, 37, sources told TMZ Thursday.

Bündchen was working steadily until earlier this month on projects for fashion campaigns and magazines, the outlet reported, as she last appeared on the catwalk in 2015.

Bündchen, who was seen exercising at a Florida gym Tuesday, will pause modeling industry projects until she feels fully confident to begin working again, sources told the outlet.

Bündchen and ex-husband Tom Brady, 47, share two kids: 16-year-old son Benjamin and 11-year-old daughter Vivian. Brady is also father to son John Edward Thomas Moynahan, 17, with actress Bridget Moynahan, 53.

Bündchen and Brady divorced from in 2022 after a 13-year marriage, and share custody of their kids.

Bündchen told Brady she was expecting prior to going public with the news, sources told TMZ, estimating that she’s five to six months along.

Brady was reportedly ‘stunned’ upon hearing the news, an insider told Page Six Wednesday, as ‘it just wasn’t something that was on his radar.

‘So when Gisele broke the news to him he was stunned, to say the least … Tom knew that things were serious between Gisele and Joaquin but he never imagined they would be having a child together.’

Bündchen and Valente are putting off finding out the baby’s gender until birth, according to the outlet.

Insiders told the outlet earlier this month that Bündchen had been invited to appear in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City but passed on the offer.

Bündchen has a history with the lingerie brand, as she was a Victoria’s Secret Angel in the years from 1999 to 2006. (The October 15 show saw cameos on the catwalk from Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Ashley Graham.)

An insider told People earlier this week ‘Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.’

Bündchen and Valente, a professional Jiu-Jitsu instructor, have been seeing one another since June of 2023, a source told the outlet.

They were initially spotted with one another in November of 2022 during a trip to the Costa Rican coastal area of Provincia de Puntarenas.

Bündchen ‘is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,’ an insider told the outlet in June.

Bündchen’s most recent modeling stint on a catwalk came on April 15, 2015 at the Candido Portinari Park in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with Brady in attendance.

Bündchen, whose catwalk retirement came after a year in which Forbes ranked her as the top-earning model worldwide, had been walking for labels including Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Pantene at the time.

‘Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business,’ Bündchen said on Instagram at the time. ‘I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey.’
