Lambrini Girls Announce Debut Album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ | News | Clash Magazine Music News, Reviews & Interviews

Explosive UK pop duo Lambrini Girls will release their debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ on January 10th.

The duo – Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Lilly Macieira (bass) – have toured relentlessly across the land, with their uncompromising, thoroughly cheeky take on 21st century punk.

The group’s eagerly-awaited debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ lands on January 10th via City Slang, and it was produced by Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox.

Set to support IDLES at Ally Pally in November, the Brighton outfit have just shared their spicy new single ‘Big D*** Energy’. Taking down male entitlement in all its forms, it’s a raucous punk burner than is done and dusted in 120 seconds.

Lambrini Girls comment…

“Man comes in many forms, from world leaders to tech CEOs and humble softboys. But what unites them? Society has celebrated their supposed massive figurative and literal dicks, which they constantly flaunt. Why? Toxic masculinity.”

“Fuelling their sense of entitlement and insecurities leads to harmful behaviours. Which when left unchecked, means we have to deal with the fallout. The definition of ‘Big Dick Energy’ is a confidence that doesn’t need proving. Which begs the question, how big is that dick in reality? If you haven’t figured this out by now, it’s not that big.”
