Kristin Scott Thomas is married!
The actress, 64, ‘secretly tied the knot with Bloomberg editor-in-chief John Micklethwait in September’, according to new reports.
In an intimate ceremony with her nearest and dearest, the renowned star and the distinguished journalist said ‘I Do’ after five years together.
A friend told The Independent: ‘They are a perfect match. Both smart, wry and curious as well as devoted to each other.
‘Everyone is delighted that they have got married after a wonderful five-year romance.’

Kirstin, who tries to keep her love life under wraps, previously shut down any conversation of John during an interview with the Financial Times.
Asked about their romance, Kristin said: I’m not going to talk about him. I’m talking about me.’
Former Economist editor John is now editor-in-chief of financial news agency Bloomberg.
The BAFTA star has fallen in and out of love with the movie business during her stellar career spanning more than 40 years.
After finding success with The Horse Whisperer and Random Hearts, she took a break from the big screen to raise her three older children: Hannah, Joseph and George.
She shares her children with her ex-husband François Olivennes, whom she divorced in 2005 after 17 years of marriage.
In 2013, Kristin gave a rare insight into her private life and joked she would probably be single for life because ‘all the men will run for the hills’ when they see it.
The actress told the Sunday Telegraph: ‘It’s incredibly difficult keeping relationships alive when you have a lifestyle like mine. I’m never more than a few weeks in one place.’

She also admitted that her personal life often suffers because of her career.
She said: ‘If I’ve signed on to do something, then I have to do it properly. So I have to switch off the personal life. I can just about squeeze in a phone call at lunchtime, but anything else I just can’t deal with.
‘So it’s a bit of an escapism thing, actually. Things complicated at home? Get a job! Go off somewhere else and pretend I’m someone else.’
