JADE has unleashed her new single ‘Midnight Cowboy’.

The UK star was a key component in Little Mix, the trailblazing girl group who shattered chart records. Turning solo, the now mononymous JADE went solo with her sublime single ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ earlier this year.

Racking up more than 40 million streams, ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ cracked the Top 10 and remains in the Official UK Singles Chart Top 20, two months after release.

Out now, quick-fire follow-up ‘Midnight Cowboy’ is a wild ride, the sound of JADE owning her sexuality. Sonically, it leans in to 00s R&B for the potent, club-ready bass line, but there’s plenty of space for JADE to assert her vivid vocals.

Crafted alongside BRIT record-breaker RAYE, the spoken word is actually a cameo from Doctor Who actor and all-round cultural superstar Ncuti Gatwa.

Written in 2022 by Raye and I, produced by Jonah Christian and featuring a guest moment from the one and only Ncuti Gatwa – Midnight Cowboy is a sultry, understated bass heavy bop about owning your sexuality and your talents that come with it.”

The video was shot at night, and features an incredible dance routine – oh, and tonnes of water, too…

As JADE puts it in the chorus: “giddy up it’s the Wild Wild West and I think it’s time for the midnight cowboy…”
