WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today announced the implementation of federal disaster assistance for the State of Georgia and ordered federal aid to supplement State and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene beginning on September 24, 2024, and continuing.
