Col3trane Races Back With ‘Where Have You Been All My Life?’ | News | Clash Magazine Music News, Reviews & Interviews

North London voice Col3trane returns with new single ‘Where Have You Been All My Life?’ – tune in now.

The songwriter is a long-time CLASH favourite, with his take on R&B blending vintage tropes with some UK grit. Brought up in North London to American and Egyptian parents, Col3trane developed his own sound from the off, impressing with his debut flurry of singles.

The influential ‘Tsarina’ mixtape dropped when he was barely even 18 years old, and since then Col3trane has developed a singular catalogue.

New single ‘Where Have You Been All My Life’ is his first release this year, and it reflects Col3trane’s trans-Atlantic travels.

Matching UK aspects against some West Coast techniques, ‘Where Have You Been All My Life’ is the songwriter’s point of reintroduction.

He comments…

“’Where Have You Been All My Life’ primarily captures a night spent driving around LA in the back of an Uber. The song reflects the chaotic nature of that journey, which unfolded in many chapters. I wanted this track to serve as my reintroduction because it embodies the mood I’ve been in over the past year, and the music truly reflects that. I’m excited for everyone to hear more.”

Tune in now.
