Engineering is for everyone! Host a Building Stuff watch party with students, an engineering group, or a makerspace to get your group fired up about the engineering process. The Building Stuff outreach toolkit has everything you need to plan and execute a watch party, including three engineering activities that highlight concepts of the engineering process from each film!

The NOVA Building Stuff activity kits contain materials and instructions for engineering activities inspired by the series. The kits are designed for a group of 30 middle to high school students. The kits are available for educators who teach engineering either in a formal K-12 setting or in an informal setting.

Building Stuff Virtual Field Trips — Coming Soon in November!

Virtual field trips are livestreamed events hosted on Zoom, YouTube, and Facebook that feature scientists sharing presentations, science demonstrations, and tours of research sites. We have two virtual field trips featuring engineers from the Building Stuff series planned this fall — stay tuned for dates and registration links!

Building Stuff Screening Events

This November, join NOVA for two screening and panel discussion events featuring clips from the 3-part Building Stuff series paired with a panel discussion with experts from the film. Each event will also include a catered reception following the panel discussion.
