East Houston – According to Houston Police, a man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head outside of a bar near 2200 McCarty Street in East Houston.

Investigators said there was a disturbance outside of the bar around 2 a.m. when someone pulled a gun and started shooting, hitting the victim in the head. The victim was transported to the hospital and is critical condition.

Police said the shooter fled the scene. Investigators have not released a suspect or vehicle description. They are asking any witnesses or anyone with any information that may help with the investigation to please contact the authorities.
