Jane’s Addiction: Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro Fight Onstage | Clash Magazine Music News, Reviews & Interviews

Jane’s Addiction ended their show in Boston last night abruptly – with Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro fighting onstage.

The reformed rockers played Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston on September 13th, with tensions spilling out onstage. Numerous videos have hit social media, with guitarist Dave Navarro and frontman Perry Farrell squabbling during the set.

Issues reportedly came to a head during a performance of ‘Mountain Song’, with Perry Farrell shouting at the guitarist. The issues got worse during their song ‘Three Days’, before the frontman lashed out at Dave Navarro during ‘Ocean Size’.

Security then manhandled Perry Farrell offstage, with Dave Navarro left visibly shocked onstage.

Drummer Stephen Perkins, who was celebrating his 57th birthday, led the remaining musicians to the front of the stage, thanking the crowd.

Watch footage of the incident below.

Jane’s Addiction have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.

Jane’s Addiction have been touring the world this year, including a pair of intimate shows at London’s Bush Hall. In our review of their spectacular performance, CLASH wrote:

Though all the hits were delivered, tonight felt nothing like a band just doing the old numbers. This was Jane’s Addiction driven by an intense passion, a band grateful to have survived long enough to make this reunion something rather special, and pulling out all the stops to ensure every song exploded on impact. Let’s hope it’s not another lengthy wait until we can see them here again.
