Meet the 2023 – 2024 NOVA Science Studio student-producers who covered a wide variety of big data science stories
In Fall 2023, NOVA, supported by the Corporation of Public Broadcasting, launched a national cohort of the NOVA Science Studio to empower the next generation of science communicators to produce short-form science videos about local science issues in their communities.
Over the 2023 – 2024 school year, students from Brentwood High School, Davison High School, Horizon Science Academy Columbus High School, and Jasper County High School developed science journalism and video production skills while pitching, researching, and producing a short form video about big data and its applications and impacts on issues in their local communities. Congratulations to both students and teachers on their completion of the NSS program!
